The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The celebrated industry figure passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This represents a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his family, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
