The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to trainers forming strong views on the entire roster of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to link this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Taurus – Mega Heracross

The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Several previous official descriptions mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, offering an endless fountain of chatter to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an captivating, gregarious Gemini, it's very easy to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds very similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a passionate sign famous for often becoming wrapped up in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's too much for Manectric to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or terrifying, based on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s precisely the identical vibe a Lion offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The sign known for being endearingly critical is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how people are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and striving to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Super Audino's abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Abandoned as a doll, it became sentient through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to predict calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who often consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Mega Absol, they often are.
